About Asbjørn Academy

Established in 2014 as a non-profit homeschool, Asbjørn Academy has grown into a comprehensive, diverse, and personalized learning experience using highly skilled teachers and cutting edge technology.  Our Academy offers courses ranging from the standards of: Arts, Math, English, Science, and Social Studies, to the adaptive and advanced courses such as: Chinese, Spanish, Computer Science, Coding, Robotics, and Work/Life skills.

Partnering with top performing learning platforms we've been able to expand our course offerings in STEM and world languages.  Our academy allows our students to create their own courses as part of their curriculum.  With the required rigorous courses the student created courses allows them to explore their abilities and strengthen personal goals.

Moodle as our LMS creates new advantages for online, remote, and hybrid courses.  We use many educational platforms that will help us support content and student learning.

Quality

The quality of the classes is matched only by the quality of our faculty.  All of our faculty have graduate degrees.

Choice

Students learn in structured and non-structured courses, both face-to-face and online.  The student centered education is limitless.

Tools

High end technology is provided to all students.  Laptops, mobile devices, 3D printing, robots, and more are some tools available.

Personal

Students spend much of their time one-on-one with faculty to build and personalize their phenomenological experiences.

Services

Educational platforms: code.org, Duolingo, and KhanAcademy provide additional resources to OER.  Moodle serves as our courses  LMS.

Potential

Exploring a students potential will help us tailor an education to best serve the student to build a future of education and success.

Support

We provide educational tutoring, tech support, personal counseling, study skills, and college planning all from qualified professionals.

Fun

We offer extra curricular activities, exercise equipment, a playground, and sports education.  Education and Knowledge is hard, but it's fun!
